The fall 2011 season for the Central Lakes College Community Band will begin on Monday, Sept 12 at 7 p.m. in the rehearsal hall of the Brainerd campus. “European Night,” the theme for the fall concert, will be the atmosphere of the music. All wind band players of at least 16 years of age are welcome. In July the band traveled to Central Europe for a nine-day, five-concert tour. “Those of us who traveled have a few stories to share with any newcomers,” said Conductor Steve Anderson. The fall concert will be presented on Tuesday, Nov 8 at 8:01 p.m. (1 minute after the polls close.) There will be a discount for all those who come to the concert with an "I Voted" sticker visible.
