Central Lakes College is
participating in “College Knowledge Month,” a statewide effort to provide every
graduating high school senior with the opportunity to apply to college. In
conjunction with this effort, Central Lakes College will waive application fees
for new students from October 25-31, 2013.
“Our colleges and universities are places of opportunity,” said John O’Brien, vice chancellor of Academic and Student Affairs for MnSCU. “We are committed to making sure that every Minnesotan has access to an extraordinary education, and knowledge of the application process is central to that access. We are pleased to support this important initiative and look forward to engaging many new prospective students through this process.”
In College Knowledge
Month, high schools and postsecondary institutions work together to engage,
inform and support students as they enter into the college application process.
The culmination of College Knowledge Month is a
week in which many colleges and universities across the state waive application
fees. This year, all 31 MnSCU colleges and universities will waive application
fees during the week of October 25 – 31, 2013.
