CLC students had a great showing at the 2015 American Advertising Awards held at the Paramount Theater in St. Cloud on January 24.
CLC photo imaging students brought home 7 silver and 4 gold awards for their photography entries. Graphic design students grabbed 2 silver and 4 gold for their creative work.
The American Advertising Awards (formerly known as the ADDYs) are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting over 50,000 entries every year in local competitions. The mission of the competition is to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising.
Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the local competition is the first of a three-tier, national competition. From here, winning entries move on to the district and then, hopefully, national level to compete with other top-notch work from around the country.
