The Pine River Community Outreach Site for Central Lakes College and its
partners serving Cass County have scheduled registration nights and tours at
two area businesses. Pequot Tool and
Manufacturing, Jenkins, will host the first registration night, along with
tours, on Thursday, July 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. Mann Lake Ltd.,
Hackensack, will host a Registration Night and tours on Tuesday, Aug. 21 from 5
to 7 p.m.
At each event guests have the opportunity to learn more about the courses
offered at the Pine River Outreach Site, 980 First Street N., Pine River, as
well as online toward the Associate in Arts degree from Central Lakes College.
Fall classes starting in
September at Pine River include Applied Mathematics and Blueprint Reading I.
Pequot Tool and
Manufacturing is located at 3457 Veterans Street, next to the Jenkins VFW.
Mann Lake Ltd. is located at 501 First St. South,
just west of the junction of CR 40 and Highway 371 on the south edge of
Hackensack.
CLC’s partners in the outreach are the Initiative
Foundation, Cass County Economic Development Corp., and Pine River-Backus
Schools.
