Spotlight on Health

A nationally-renowned doctor and professor of rheumatology and internal medicine will be a featured speaker as part of the Spotlight on Health series presented by the Center for Lifelong Learning at Central Lakes College. “Spotlight on Health: Arthritis – Most Common Types and Treatment” will be presented at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 13 in Room E203 at Central Lakes College – Brainerd Campus. Arthur L. Weaver, MD, MS, clinical professor of medicine emeritus in the Division of Rheumatology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, will discuss the symptoms, signs and treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and gout. Dr. Weaver will also make time for general questions from the audience but will not address questions regarding a specific individual’s health problems, as these are best answered by the individual’s personal physician.
