Congratulations to Anne Nelson Fisher, Central Lakes College, who has been elected president of the Minnesota Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges. Following a period as president-elect, Anne will be the official organization president. She is not only a recognized participant of the CLC mathematics learning community. She champions civic progress. Anne is a former Brainerd City Council member who is still involved with community improvement efforts, serving as a member of the Healthy Communities Partnership Housing Task Force. She is also an activist speaking out against poverty -- locally and globally.
