Central Lakes College students and community band members were among the 400 participants to perform in the Grand Concert at the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Two-Year College Fine Arts Association Music Festival April 9 at Breezy Point. The concert was free and open to the public. It featured three performance groups from selected musicians attending the event from 10 colleges across the state. The Concert Band, the Jazz Band, and the Festival Choir were each directed by guest conductors. They were John Ginocchio of Southwest Minnesota State University, Kyle Mack of North Dakota State University, and Russell Svenningsen of Southwest Minnesota State University.
