The Raider softball team captured two wins over Hibbing, 12-4 and 7-3, on April 10 to push the season record to 11-7 and the Division mark to 4-2. The day before, CLC swept Northland, 22-1 and 14-1. Both days' games were played at the Findorff Athletic Complex on the Brainerd campus. Ashly Erickson continues to dominate, who pitched six innings for the 12-4 win vs. Hibbing. She went 4-for-5 with a double, triple, and two RBI. Carissa Utsch swings a hot bat, pounding a double in her 3-4 stint. Trisha Wippler (pictured) went 4-4 and 2-3 as a clutch hitter on the day. Tika Nichols was the standout vs. Northland as she pitched a win and hammered the ball when at the plate. In baseball, CLC lost to St. Cloud Tech four times in two days to drop to 3-17. On April 11 the Raiders fell, 9-0 and 5-4, at St. Cloud. On April 10 the Raiders lost, 11-7 and 16-5 on the home field.
