Central Lakes College will host the Winter Classic Basketball Spectacular on Friday, Dec. 17 and Saturday, Dec. 18. It features teams from six of the state's top Minnesota College Athletic Conference schools, including CLC. The games will be played in the Brainerd campus gymnasium, with a 20-minute warm-up between games. The schedule: Friday, Dec. 17, 2 p.m. women, Itasca (Grand Rapids) vs. Minnesota State (Fergus Falls); 4 p.m. men, Rainy River (International Falls)vs. M State; 6 p.m. women, Minnesota West vs. CLC; 8 p.m. men, Fond Du Lac (Cloquet) vs. CLC. Saturday, Dec. 18, Noon women M State vs. Minnesota West; 2 p.m. men, M State vs. Fond Du Lac; 4 p.m. women, CLC vs. Itasca; 6 p.m. men, CLC vs. Rainy River.
