The Central Lakes College Cultural Arts Series this fall will feature artists with national and international reputations. Theatre Director Patrick Spradlin has assembled for his fifth season a line-up of performers that will offer something for just about anyone interested in the performing arts. “Popular acts such as George Winston, the Rock and Roll Xmas Spectacular, and the Steele Family will return,” promises Spradlin, noting that the schedule is a work in progress until Sept. 13 when details will be announced. Fall venue ticket sales are expected to be under way by then. “The Chalberg renovation is underway,” Spradlin said of the project to upgrade the 38-year-old facility. “Demolition is well in-stride and by October, new seats and sound equipment will arrive.” Kicking off the season at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25 in Tornstrom Auditorium, Brainerd, will be internationally renowned Winston, who performed for a full house last October at CLC.
