Jenna Terhaar knocked down 11 kills to go with six digs in the Central Lakes College Raiders 3-0 North Division victory Saturday, Sept. 18 over Fond Du Lac in Minnesota College Athletic Conference volleyball at Cloquet. Rachel Pfeffer distributed 13 set assists and Jonica Swanson added 12. The Raiders as a team collected eight ace serves. "I was pleased with how everyone played," said CoachJane Peterson. "People got to play who haven't been playing consistently and everyone played well. That's always fun when people get their chance and come through." On Friday, Sept. 17 at Itasca, CLC lost, 3-1, winning the first game but losing the next there. All were close games. Itasca (10-2) is ranked No. 5 in the NJCAA Div. III poll. Against the Vikings Terhaar pounded 12 kills with three blocks and Kirstie Grill smacked another 11 kills with three blocks of her own. Division: CLC 4-2. Overall: CLC 9-6.
