Winners of $100 each from a random drawing among Service Learning and Civic Engagement participants in 2010-11 are the Medical Assistant Club and Practical Nursing program on the Staples campus and the Horticulture Club and Occupational Skills Program on the Brainerd campus. The funds are available for these groups to use in a celebration activity (pizza, lunch, etc.) for the winners. Last week, CLC held its first Civic Engagement and Service Learning celebrations on the Staples and Brainerd campuses. The drawings were held Wednesday, supervised by Erich Heppner and Rebecca Best, with Adam Schlangen from Student Senate doing the honors.
