Central Lakes College 's Stephanie Neugebauer, Northern Division Player of the Week in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference, on Tuesday showed why she deserved the honor. Her game-winning double in the bottom of the eighth produced a 4-3 win over Itasca at Findorff Field. Neugebauer’s hit up the middle scored Lindsey Fryer from second base as CLC evened its record at 4wins, 4 losses. Winning pitcher Sam Harting struck out four and walked two in a complete game. Fryer finished 3-for-4 with three runs scored and a double. Alicia Johnson and Dani Thiesse also doubled. In the first game Tuesday, an 8-0 loss, Harting struck out two and walked one while Hallsey Olson doubled and Johnson went 3-for-3 with a double. Next: Northland at CLC 3 p.m. Friday (2).
