ROSEMOUNT — After wining two of three games in their softball season opener Thursday, the Central Lakes College Raiders lost two of three at the Irish Dome Friday. CLC lost the first game 11-7 to Fond du Lac. CLC's Dani Thiesse tripled and Trisha Wippler went 2-for-4. Sam Harting pitched a complete game, struck out three and walked seven. In an 11-7 win over Itasca, Wippler doubled and homered and finished 3-4. Alicia Johnson was 2-4 with a home run. Steph Neugebauer was 4-4 with a double and three singles. Winning pitcher Lindsay Fryer struck out one and walked one in a complete game. In Game Three, the Raiders lost 12-4 to Hibbing. Harting pitched a complete game, struck out four and walked two, and Neugebauer went 2-3. Overall: CLC 3-3. Next: at Itasca (Grand Rapids) 3 p.m. Tuesday (2).
