Central Lakes College Heavy Equipment Operations and Maintenance students, as well as Diesel Technology students on Wed., April 20 were allowed to submit to two interviews each for jobs with employers who were represented by human resources staffers on the Staples campus. The job interviews engaged 84 CLC students who were in either their first or second year of the career education programs located at Staples. Some landed jobs the same day, and others gained experience for additional opportunities to be employed with the companies and organizations that came from as far as Aberdeen, S.D., and southern Minnesota. Students had received assistance in this part of their education through Employment Stratgies offered by instructors Betsy Picciano and Don Pfeffer.
