Katie Boody went 6-for-7 with two doubles and Sam Harting recorded two wins as the Central Lakes College fast-pitch softball team swept Hibbing on Saturday at CLC's Findorff Athletic Complex in Brainerd. Katie was 2-3 with a run and two singles in a 6-2 win in Game One. Sam pitched a complete game, with one earned run, four strikeouts and two walks. Stephanie Neugebauer went 3-4 with three RBIs and a double, Tricia Wippler was 3-4 with an RBI and double and Lindsey Fryer was 2-4 with two runs, an RBI and two doubles. In Game Two, Katie batted 4-for-4 with a run, RBI, two doubles and two singles in a 9-4 win. Sam pitched five innings to get the win, allowing two runs, striking out one and walking four. Lindsey pitched the last two innings, allowing two runs, with one strikeout and four walks. Dani Thiesse was 2-4 with two doubles, Lindsey was 3-4, Stephanie was 2-4 with a triple, Alicia Johnson was 2-4 with a double and Sam was 1-4 with a double. Division: CLC 4-2. Overall: CLC 7-5.
